When I was young and beautiful, in the times well before the world went looney tunes, I loved fashion week. Yes, it was often weird-ish depending on the designer. But for the most part the fashion was exquisite, the models were gorgeous, and the designers had such pride in their designs it oozed all over the runway.
What has happened to fashion has happened to all other forms of beautiful things people used to make…the rot, the corruption, the self-loathing, and the brainwashing has oozed into the brains of the weak and what you depicted is the product.
Yes, I am SO crusty! This stuff is absolutely unbearable and the way they think they’re so edgy makes it a millions time more so. Hearing them explain it away with all that postmodern theory claptrap is so painful. They sound absolutely vaccinated 😉

The examples of so-called high fashion that you've pointed out in your article IMHO is actually "bad" art, an inverted aesthetic - ugly is beautiful, beautiful is ugly. It's actually a degraded creation. Truly good art actually nourishes one's soul and can actually lift one out of the (prison-like) confines of the thinking, non-stop chattering (monkey) mind. There is such a thing as bad or degraded "art." Simply put, such art will make one feel worse, not better. Good art (of any kind) will always make one feel better while looking at it. I'll go out on a limb here and say that no one is (truly) moved by a banana duck taped to a canvas, or other such utter nonsense.
Totally agree. I’ve been watching clips from the Pope lying in state and I literally catch my breath at the art and architecture, not to mention all the regency and spectacle. What happened to us? Also agree zero people are moved by the banana. It’s sad they think they have to pretend to get it.
Rather than Neo Markism or Critical theory, may Elite capture would be a better term when the uber wealthy sit about being entertained by the circus while deciding what to waste their ill gotten gains on. There is no awareness of class in it!
